Working with the Affordable Housing Corporation in the Washington, DC metro area this project won one of the 2009 AIA Washingtonian Award. The design intent was to create 10 affordable housing units of 3 bedrooms each with individual parking and outdoor spaces. Utilizing sustainable design strategies of modular construction (SIPS panels), low flow fixtures, on demand systems building placement.
Ms. Brandrup was part of the design team working as Senior Project Architect for this exciting project while at Cunningham Quill Architects in Washington DC.
